Our approach to architecture and design is focused on the basics of form and function. Proportion. Mass. Color. Light. We believe size matters and an efficient floor plan can help us live more lightly and comfortably. Homes are carefully placed to create dynamic landscapes and green spaces, while preserving the natural beauty of the land. Mixson regulates the quality of materials and design and welcomes a range of architectural styles.
The result? Outstanding quality of construction and a form that is diverse and evolving is what makes every new home in Mixson an exciting addition to the Park Circle community. The design team and owners are always “taking it up a notch,” achieving new levels of creativity, craftsmanship and elegance. Design features are based on a study of the most enduring, alluring neighborhoods from around the world. Upon completion, Mixson will have approximately 300 single family homes, townhouses and condos, with all homes achieving a level of green certification.
Mixson started construction on new single family homes in the spring of 2014. This phase of Mixson’s residential development will feature approximately 80 sustainable, energy-efficient single family homes with pricing starting in the low- to mid-$300,000s. While Mixson continues to cultivate its team of local architects and builders, the first single family residences in the new phase are being constructed by Reavis-Comer Development, Seaquest Development, The Verdi Company, and New Leaf Builders. These homes are one to three stories, ranging from 1,000 to 2,400 square feet, with a modern, warm feel.
